I think ending teachers spending their own money is ludicrous! There's so much being spent surely the goverments and education departments (yours and ours) can see something's missing!

Love the photos! I just do private lessons (some small group, some individual), and that in itself already costs a bit. I can't imagine how much it would cost if I taught in a public school!

And let's not forget how much parents spend as well. The list of school supplies required grows each year....it's at least double what it was when I was in school, and I've only been out less than a decade! As someone who is in the teaching field, it was frustrating, parents would complain (rightly so) and yet, the school districts would not help us out.

The night looks like it was fun! I have been wanting to see The Proposal, so now I just might have to!
